Elderflowers are known for their softening, anti-inflammatory, and anti-wrinkle properties. I made this salve especially for mums. I keep mine on the kitchen bench, use immediately after washing dishes.

Beeswax is an essential part of any homemade salve together with an infused oil, in our case elderflower oil.

Natural wax, beeswax is produced by our honey bees it acts as a moisture barrier on your skin, protecting it from drying out but allowing the oils in the salve to soak in.

ELDERFLOWERS -ANTI AGING HERBS

Blossoms of elder contain flavonoids that are considered effective antioxidants that protect our cells from free radicals damage. They also calm inflammation and increase blood circulation. 

Bioflavonoids and vitamins present in elderflowers reduce fine lines and the appearance of wrinkles. In addition, they also encourage the growth of new cells making the skin appear younger.
