Our On the Go Wellness Shot, is the perfect traveling companion. Organic ingredients, no nasty preservatives, travel friendly, no refrigeration required.

Taken from the the idea of a fire cider and traditional herbal oxymel. The ancient Greek word oxymeli translates to “acid and honey.” The simplest definition of herbal extraction of vinegar and raw honey.

A classic but often overlooked herbal preparation, oxymels have been used for ages for a variety of respiratory and immune system issues including coughs, mucus, and difficulty breathing.

Quantity

Certified Organic Elderberries (Sambucus Nigra), Raw Australian Apple Cider Vinegar sourced locally, Raw honey with pollen and propolis.

Recommended dose : Adults and children over 12 years of age 15ml.

Not recommended for children under 12 months.

Both Raw Apple cider vinegar and Raw honey have been used for millennia to help boost the immune system, soothe dry throats, and help with digestion.

Organic apple cider vinegar is high in acetic acid, and we use the raw, unfiltered version, so you are also getting "mother" strands of proteins, enzymes, and helpful bacteria (like what one might enjoy in kombucha.)

Meanwhile, the honey brings soothing qualities and provides germ-fighting properties.

These two ingredients alone are beneficial to the body, and when you add elderberries you have an incredibly effective method of getting extra herbal support as well.

When trying our amazing oxymel elixir, try adding some to warm water as a comforting drink to pull you through the sniffle season.

Or, use a splash or two to flavour bubbly water on a hot summer day for a refreshing boost.

You also might find you like it as a topping on pancakes or added to salads as a healthy vinaigrette.

Remember because we use raw honey, it’s not recommended for children under 12 months.
